In 2023, No Name had the privilege of hosting two talented artists—one from Hong Kong and the other from Thailand—as part of our Artist Residency Program. We are delighted to announce that the open talk will be held at The Belgian House on October 12th. We extend a warm invitation to our friends, peers, and aficionados of art to join us.

No Name Artist Aphisit Sidsunthia | No Name 艺术驻地项目艺术家Aphisit SidsunthiaAphisit Sidsunthia captures the fleeting and fragile joy of life's ephemerality in his evocative oil paintings. His artwork embodies a juxtaposition: moments of fleeting elation, like houses of cards or balloons, against an underlying tension and unease. His potent blend of surrealism, tinged with both vibrancy and grim reality, draws the viewer into a world impossible to turn away from. His notable solo exhibitions include "Visualize the Unpredictable" in Bangkok (2022), "FRAGMENTS" in Malaysia (2019), and "AFTERTASTE" in Bangkok (2018). He's also contributed to group exhibitions worldwide, from Art Expo Malaysia 2019 to the IV BIENAL International 2017 in Spain. An aporia prompts us into doubt, but also sparks curiosity, urging us to embrace differences and new experiences. Aphisit, as a painter, continually challenges his previous works. His new series contrasts his earlier ones, favoring simplicity and clarity in its depictions while still allowing for open interpretation. This exhibition melds human and technological interaction. No Name Artist Lau King | No Name 艺术驻地项目艺术家刘洁莹Lau King uses photography and visual art as her chosen mediums to articulate her personal philosophy and worldview. She delves into the realm of spiritual freedom through photography, capturing the vastness of our three-dimensional world from both macro and micro perspectives. Her perception transforms the mundane into a breathtaking world of beauty, continuously challenging set boundaries and definitions. 刘洁莹使用摄影和视觉艺术作为她选择的媒介来表达她的个人哲学和世界观。她通过摄影深入探索精神自由的境界，从宏观和微观的角度捕捉我们广阔的三维世界。她的感知将平凡日常转变成一个令人惊叹的美丽世界，不断挑战既定的界限和定义。 Lau King's works have graced both online and offline international exhibitions and are cherished by collectors, art consultants, hotels, and interior designers globally.
